Contract Creative Director

Location: Hybrid work environment, located in the Pacific Northwest

Quinn Thomas, an integrated marketing communications Agency is hiring a contract creative director to join our team this summer. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a leadership role in an Agency environment, overseeing visual and verbal brand strategy projects from inception to completion. This role will provide strategic creative direction, visual and verbal solutions that meet client goals and manage workflow across our internal team and outside vendors.

This role is an hourly contract position to support multiple campaigns in the Northwest beginning July 1 through September 30.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working closely with marketing account teams to lead the development of creative strategies for a range of marketing campaigns in healthcare organizations and state agencies in the Northwest.
  • Partnering with the creative team and vendors, including designers, project managers, copywriters and other support, to deliver top-notch, detail-oriented work.
  • Presenting to and consulting with clients and stakeholders to realize their vision and objectives and translate into a compelling visual and verbal creative strategy.
  • Applying industry trends and implementing best practices for accessibility, equity, efficiency and creativity.
  • Leading organization and oversight of video and photo production, including in-person shoot direction and managing talent and licensing agreements.
  • Deliver work on time and budget and in collaboration with account teams.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a creative director role or similar.
  • Bachelor’s degree in design, marketing, or a relevant field.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills with a proven ability to manage large-scale creative projects.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, creative tools, and designing for accessibility and equity.

  • Experience leading creative for healthcare marketing campaigns.
  • A master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven ability to work with various teams across an organization.
  • Experience working with a diverse client base.
  • Ability to travel within the Northwest as needed.

COMPENSATION

The compensation for this role ranges between $90-$110 per hour depending on experience and we anticipate an average of 20-30 hours per week for 8-12 weeks.
