Lauren serves as the firm’s assistant account executive, lending her innate and growing communications skills to nearly every facet of our work. Whether it’s media scanning, reporting, and pitching, basic creative development, or helping manage complex video shoots, she’s a fearless young professional who will take on any challenge. Lauren also comes to us with practical knowledge of both traditional PR and the news industry.
Lauren is a former reporter and editor for The Emerald, University of Oregon’s newspaper. During her time there, she covered both local and national news stories. One of her most prized contributions was her coverage of the Umpqua Community College shooting. Her work in traditional print media has given her a strong passion for media relations.
She is a former intern for Verve Northwest Communications where she drove brand awareness for businesses like Togo’s, Plantation Hale Suites, DeFUNKit and Tickled Pink Paper and Ink. Formerly an executive board member for the University of Oregon’s Public Relations Student Society of America, Lauren is now involved in the Portland Metro chapter of the professional equivalent, Public Relations Society of America.
A proud graduate of the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication, you’ll find Lauren at Autzen Stadium most Saturdays in the fall cheering on her beloved Ducks.
